You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@thirdriver.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Use the Service to generate fraudulent or misleading CVs
• Share your account credentials with others
• Circumvent any billing or usage limits

The Free plan includes a limited number of CV optimisations. Paid plans (Pro subscription and pay-per-use top-ups) are billed in KES via Paystack.

Subscription charges are non-refundable once the billing period has started unless required by law. Unused pay-per-use credits expire 12 months after purchase.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You retain full ownership of the CV documents you upload and the results generated from them. We do not claim any rights over your content.

The LuminousCV brand, interface, and underlying software are owned by Third River Solutions. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

The Service uses AI to suggest improvements to your CV. AI output may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before submitting it to prospective employers.

We make no guarantee that optimised CVs will result in interviews or job offers.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Third River Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may terminate or suspend your access at our discretion if you breach these terms.

On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
